The second phase of the A.W. Larson Building, now under construction, features 50 apartments and shares amenities and a courtyard with adjacent Union Bay Lofts(Phase 1), which was designed to create an open and visually connected amenity space for both buildings. The A.W. Larson building juxtaposes the facade of the original 1920’s A.W. Larson building (once owned by Joe Desimone, founder of the Pike Place Market, and the site of Seattle’s original Safeway store).
