Union Bay Lofts, constructed in 2008 and nominated for Seattle’s American Institute of Architects (AIA) Best Built Design 2008, was the first phase of the A.W. Larson development and features 18 high-end two-bedroom loft units with a restaurant on the ground floor. It shares a courtyard with the adjacent A.W. Larson building (Phase 2), which was designed to create an open and visually connected amenity space for both buildings.
