Bremerton, WA, April 24th, 2023 — Judges for the 2023 Gold Nugget Awards have named Marina Square as an Award of Merit winner in its annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and draws entries from throughout the United States and internationally. Sound West Group earned its Merit honors for Marina Square, which was honored for Best Multi-Family Housing Community – 100 du/acre or more.
Chosen from the elite pool of Merit Award winners, Grand Awards will be announced on May 24th – The 2023 Gold Nugget Awards will be presented in Anaheim as a Highlight Event of PCBC.
Located in Bremerton, WA, Marina Square is a 270 unit waterfront project next to the ferry and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and offers market rate apartments, furnished suites, parking, a market, retail and future restaurant.

It honors design and planning achievements in community and home design, green-built housing, site planning, commercial, retail, mixed-use development and specialty housing categories. Winners this year were chosen from over 600 entries from around the world.
