2010

  • Founded Sound West Group (SWG) together with Mike Brown and Dr. Pankaj Sharma
  • Acquired furniture warehouse and retail center in Silverdale, and repurposed into Tower Medical Center, home to the Digestive Disease & Endoscopy Center, Silverdale, WA

2011

  • Closed on acquisition of a family-owned sporting goods store, and executed a lease and remodel of the property into REI Silverdale, WA

2012

  • Completed ground-up construction to sale of 40 Single Family Home project, Chateau Ridge, Poulsbo, WA

2013

2014

  • Commenced construction on 140 single family residence subdivision Summerset Development, Poulsbo, WA
  • SWG becomes the second largest single family housing developer in Kitsap County
  • Acquired 51,000 sf warehouse complex, executed a lease with General Dynamics, and remodeled and opened the facility to serve as GD’s marine division’s central warehouse and production facility in Bremerton

2015

  • Commenced construction on Spyglass Hill, an 80 unit apartment community in downtown Bremerton
  • Commenced construction on the 50-unit AW Larson Building, Eastlake neighborhood, Seattle
  • SWG moves to 423 Pacific Avenue, downtown Bremerton in the General Dynamics Building, (developed by Brown and Larson in 2003

2016

  • Completed construction and sale of last home in Summerset, Poulsbo. 20 SFRs within Summerset sold as affordable housing to Housing Kitsap (HK) utilizing HK’s “self help” equity program
  • Closed on acquisition of Marina Square, a 5 acre site on the Bremerton waterfront from Port of Bremerton; proceeded with entitlement and environmental remediation for a 270-unit mixed used project with a 380 car parking garage
  • SWG leads the successful Fast Ferry campaign from its HQ in downtown Bremerton; SWG successfully entitles Marina Square as one of the nation’s first Opportunity Zone project; SWG featured on front page of Puget Sound Business Journal

2017

  • Completed construction on Spyglass Hill, and achieved 100% lease up in 87 days at rents, exceeding pro forma
  • Purchased former Sears Department Store, Ford Dealership Buildings, and the historic 600-seat art deco Roxy Theater, downtown Bremerton
  • Completed construction and opened AW Larson Building, Seattle

2018

  • Completed repurposement of Sears and Ford Buildings into mixed use, featuring B Flats Apartments, Axe & Arrow Restaurant and Simple Safe Storage
  • Acquired 12 properties on Front Street in downtown Poulsbo (“Little Norway”)
  • Restoration of Roxy Theater, Bremerton, completed and reopened after 35 years of dormancy with showing of “The Greatest Showman”
  • Closed and commenced construction on BLIS (Bainbridge Living Island Style) a 114 multifamily community, with 18 for sale townhomes in downtown Bainbridge Island
  • Closed on acquisition of 320 Queen Anne North, site for development of the future 66-unit Ellie Passivhaus (the largest “net zero energy use project” to be built in Washington state)

2019

  • Completed construction on BLIS Apartment Community (recipient of Gold LEED standard), and commenced lease up
  • Sign over of 1 acre public park to City of Bainbridge created as part of the BLIS project
  • Commenced construction on Marina Square and Ellie Passivhaus
  • SWG and Larson receive award from Kitsap Economic Development Alliance for “Economic Champion”, Private Sector; Marina Square receives award for “Best Opportunity Zone Project/Economic impact and revitalization” from Globestreet.com

2020

  • COVID; construction of Marina Square is paused for 9 months pending redesign of the hotel tower into an extended stay/corporate suite product
  • SWG receives the “Pivot Award” from the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce for best reaction and redirection of a business during COVID

2021

  • SWG commences remodel of “Strandvagen” consisting of 12 historic buildings on the main street of downtown Poulsbo
  • Ellie Passivhaus opens
  • Remodel of Hotel Scandi is complete and the hotel is reopened for the first time in over 40 years
  • Refinancing of B Flats is achieved

2022

  • Refinancing of Marina Square is closed, and the project is completed and TCO is issued on November 30th.
  • Elevated Property Services, SWG’s Property Management subsidiary founded
  • BLIS Apartments are sold for $65.5 mm, and a record price per unit for an apartment community sale in Kitsap County is achieved

2023

  • Remodel of Strandvagen storefronts, Poulsbo, is complete
  • REI Silverdale is sold
  • Rivulet Silverdale opens
