The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is opening its newest location in agreement with Sound West Group.
Located at Marina Square Bremerton, the new location will operate in a 2,067-square-foot facility of the Marina Square waterfront apartment complex starting in the fall of 2024, according to a recent release. The YMCA has signed a five-year lease for the space.
The Bremerton location will be an adult-only facility and offer strength training and cardio equipment along with outdoor spaces that will host seasonal group fitness classes. It also will have waterfront and boardwalk views and be near the ferry, the release noted.
“This is a very exciting and innovative way to serve the Bremerton community,” Charlie Davis, president and CEO of the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap County, said in a press statement. “Residents of the Marina Square apartment community and other individuals who live or work nearby in downtown Bremerton will have a space to improve their physical fitness and become part of the bustling YMCA community.”
Members who join the location will also have access to other nearby YMCA facilities such as the Bremerton Family YMCA.
